communication

Do you ever get the feeling you have something to say, but don't have enough words to say it in?
I do.

There is a massive communication gap between us all.
Once I thought I could learn communication be it verbal, visual, auditory or even just with touch and gestures, but as time goes by and I develop as a person I realise I am not capable of true effective communication with other people.

Why?
Because pure communication requires a true understanding. An understanding that we all lack.

We don't even understand ourselves, so how can we truly understand others enough to truly communicate with them?

The closest I think I get is .. but then i think.. so really .. yeah.. you're right.
Interesting thought.

Language has its level of communication, but require both parties to have the same level of understanding to the language in order to understand its meaning, then again to truly understand the meaning one must go through the exact experience. Chances of that happening is quite slim to match it up. That does not mean the message is a complete lost.

Then there is visual, musical, sign language, etc...

I don't think we can ever reach pure understanding of something unless of course one day we can see it all as a whole, and in depth. For now, the real importance is listening, and being there counts the most.
